WBA & PRC® Remote CME Opportunities

  • According to ACCME, an Internet live activity is a live course available via the Internet, at a certain time, on a certain date, and is only available in real-time just as if it were a course held in an auditorium.

  • WBA & PRC® has been hosting online sessions since 2012.

  • With COVID-19 we understand that it can be difficult to travel. Now we will offer online sessions of CME to help assist those who can’t otherwise travel to us.

  • With our 8 years of experience assisting people remotely online, we feel we are equipped to take this next step.

  • If you have further questions or believe you need to talk to us email Admin@prckansas.org.

COVID-19 Update*

In accordance with the broader public health policies taken to limit the effect of COVID-19, future sessions of the all educational offerings will be held remotely. We will resume our in-person sessions when prudent. These changes will go in effect 3/20. If you have any questions, or would like to register, please call (785) 842-9772, or email dwelindt@walesbehavioral.com

CME Opportunities

Distressed Physician Course*

This CME activity aims to provide physicians with a safe environment where they can learn with peers about the origins and consequences of their problematic workplace interactions. Participants have the opportunity to gain insight into factors contributing to their difficulties, understand their behavior in the context of the broader system, and develop new skill sets. The vision originally developed by the Center for Professional Health faculty at Vanderbilt and adopted for this course is for physicians with disruptive behavior to have an opportunity to learn new behavioral skills to enable them to function in an increasingly complex medical environment. Participants have the opportunity to identify specific behavioral changes that they would like to make. Follow-up sessions promote implementation and reinforcement of developing skills.
